Springtime Contemplative Walks

April 20, May 4, and May 18
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
May 25 rain date

Experience the beauty and wonder of nature with Rabbi Katy Allen on her Springtime Contemplative Walks series! This is your chance to embark on a journey of spiritual exploration while enjoying the great outdoors.

Join Rabbi Katy on three Thursdays from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM on April 20, May 4, and May 18 (with May 25 as a rain date) for a series of leisurely walks covering 1 1/2 - 2 miles. Along the way, you'll stop to share readings and participate in meaningful discussions.

Each walk will take place at a different location, with carefully curated readings to help you connect with nature on a deeper level. On April 20, explore the Carol Getchell Trail, with selected readings from Being with Trees: Awaken Your Senses to the Wonders of Nature; Poetry, Reflections, and Inspiration.

On May 4, journey to the Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge, Weir Road, Sudbury, with selected readings from Rooted: Life at the Crossroads by Lyanda Lynn Haupt.

Finally, on May 18, discover the Upper Mill Brook Conservation Area, 107 Concord Road, Wayland, with readings from A Tree of Life: A Story in Word, Image, and Text by Katy Z. Allen.

While it is suggested to purchase the books and read them ahead of time, it is not required to join in on the contemplative walks. The cost for all three walks is $25, or $10 per walk. If cost is an issue, contact Rabbi Katy at rabbikza@gmail.com.
